Alpengasthof Hindenburghütte

The sunny high plateau of the Hemmersuppenalm is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain world, embedded in magically fragrant alpine meadows and fairytale forests. A hiking paradise straight out of a picture book.

 

Event tip:

 

Every year on July 26th, a mountain service takes place in the Anna chapel on the Hemmersuppenalm.

Access to the hut:

  • By bus: Minibuses run several times a day from 9.00 am from the Tourist Info and from the Blindau car park to the Hindenburghütte on the Hemmersuppenalm. Driving service: Tel. +49 171 5437923. The journey takes about 15 minutes. The last return trip is at around 4:30 pm

You can get tickets directly on the bus.

Please note the shutdown in spring and autumn.

  • By car: It is not possible to drive up with your own car.
  • By mountain bike: From Reit im Winkl there is a cycle path parallel to the road to Seegatterl. From there you drive past the Nattersbergalm to the Hindenburghütte. This path is only recommended for experienced mountain bikers.

All other paths to the Hemmersuppenalm are not open to mountain bikers.

  • On foot : from the ski jumps / Steinbachweg or from Seegatterl via the Nattersbergalm you can reach the Alm in about 1 1/2 hours. From Seegatterl you will also find the 2 1/2 hour path via Eibenstock - Pflegereck (1260 m) to the Hemmersuppenalm.
