Tour description:
Starting at Winklmoos - Alm car park, follow the hiking trail south to the border - hiking trail Möseralm.
At the border, ascending to the right along the forest to the mountain station of the Roßalm lifts - be careful not to walk the hiking trail when it is wet. From the Roßalm mountain station, head south-west below the drag lift station on the hiking trail to the Schwarzloferalm.
At the Schwarzloferlift valley station, follow the hiking trail to the right in northerly direction towards Seegatterl-Eibenstock. At the Eibenstockhütte, take the Seegatterl - Winklmoos hiking trail to the Winklmoos - Alm junction, then follow the forest road back to the Winklmoos - Alm.
Note: There are no rest stops on the tour, only at the starting point, good hiking shoes are recommended.
Immediately after the Möseralm there is a resting place at the beautifully landscaped, crystal-clear reservoir and a great mountain panorama.
Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos - Alm. Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the federal motorway Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59), on to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district then via the toll road from Seegatterl to Winklmoos-Alm. Parking: Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!). Take the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist Info, then change to line 9507. Bus stop Winklmoos - Alm.
Connections to Reit im Winkl from the Ruhpolding train station with the RVO bus line 9506. Change in Seegatterl line 9507 to the Winklmoos - Alm. Stop Winklmoos - Alm.
