Tour description:
From the starting point, take path no. 16 via Wimmerkreuz and the Lofer bridge to the ski jumps.
A mountain path begins here. Always rising steadily, it leads through the forest and finally joins a forest road to the right, on which you soon reach Hindenburghütte restaurant (path number 16). Continue on path no. 15 to St. Anna's chapel on the Hemmersuppenalm. Return on the same route.
Tip: The Hindenburghütte can also be reached by minibuses that leave at the tourist information office. Please note the seasonal times of the shuttle bus.

You walk through a mixed and beech forest on an original mountain path up to the Hindenburghütte.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn in the direction of Blindau and approx. 1 km to the Fellhornweg car park, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59). On to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn in the direction of Blindau and approx. 1 km to the Fellhornweg car park, 83242 Reit im Winkl. Shuttle buses, subject to a fee, from the parking lot in the season.
