Lake Walchsee is a popular bathing lake with a fantastic mountain backdrop, around 20 minutes away by car just across the border in Austria. With a water temperature of 24° C, they call it the warmest swimming lake in Tyrol.
Children especially love the water trampoline and the climbing mountain floating in the lake, the pirate playground and other attractions.
Dogs are allowed on the east bank beach. Driving on the lake with your own boats (rubber dinghy, SUPs) is possible, but subject to a fee. You can rent electric boats, pedal boats, stand-up paddle boards or go water skiing.
