Tour description:

From Winklmoos-Alm car park take path no. 11 towards Scheibelberg. After the border barrier keep to the right (No. 11), partly on wooden beams up to the Scheibelberg summit.

Continue in the direction of Steinplatte and in a left curve to the Möseralm. From here on a wide forest road to "Tanzanger" (No. 15) and left back to the Winklmoos-Alm (No. 8).

Important note: when wet, there is a risk of slipping on the trail.

Particularities. The Winklmoos - Alm is Germany's most famous Alm, known from ski champion Rosi Mittermaier. Three-country corner on the Scheibelberg: Salzburg - Bavaria - Tyrol with border stone.

The free hiking bus can be used on this tour. Please note the timetable!

Tip: The Muckklause, a cultural and technical monument, is located near the "Tanzanger". It was built in 1792 and served as a dam for the timber transportation.

Arrival by car

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.

At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos-Alm. Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl

Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A 93) to Oberaudorf (exit 59), then on to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to Reit im Winkl. Parking: Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl

Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection !!).

With the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist Info, then you can change to lines 9506 and 9507.
