Tour description:
From the starting point Seegatterl parking lot on the right (use the shuttle bus from Reit im Winkl, otherwise parking fees will be charged) the path first leads over the winter hiking trail up to the Nattersbergalm.
It continues uphill to the highest point (1209 m), then briefly downhill and then flat through the snow-covered winter landscape to the Hindenburghütte. Once there, you will be rewarded with a winter landscape and a view of lake Chiemsee.
Tip: From here you have the option of taking the shuttle bus back to Reit im Winkl or taking the Schusterwald snowshoe tour back to Reit im Winkl.
Attention: The winter hiking trail to Nattersbergalm is partly used and rolled as a toboggan run. So please always be careful and foresighted!

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district. Parking: -Seegatterl, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit 59). On to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district. Parking: -Seegatterl 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Arrival by public transport
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection !!)
With the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist Info, then you can change to line 9506 Seegatterl / Ruhpolding / Inzell or the shuttle bus to Seegatterl.
Get off at bus stop Seegatterl.
