Tour description:

Highlights: Schwarzberg gorge, Unkenbach valley

From the starting point Winklmoos-Alm it goes first towards Möseralm / Muckklause, then only towards Muckklause.

We ignore Muckklause however and follow the signs towards Unkenbach / Unken. After a steep descent we cross the Unkenbach river. Here the tour continues uphill towards the Schwarzberg gorge.

As soon as we see a sign "Naturdenkmal" on the right, it is worthwhile to follow the forest path for approx. 50 m. After another 300 meters we come to the high Unkenbach bridge and from there follow the MTB signs to Möseralm.

The route leads past the Möseralm back to the starting point.

After crossing the border, orientate yourself on the signs. Furthermore, we recommend a navigation device (mobile phone, GPX device) and careful planning before the start of every tour!

Arrival by car

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos - Alm.

Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.

Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the federal motorway Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59), on to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos - Alm.

Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.

Arrival by public transport

Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!). With the RVO bus line 9505.
