Tour description:
From the starting point, head towards Reichenhaller Hütte and Mittermeier Haus, on footpath 121 to Kohlstatt.
After a short stretch on the forest road, the path joins to the right in the direction of Dürrnbachalmen (path no. 121). From the alpine pastures, a narrow path leads east to the Dürrnbachhorn.
At pillar 13 of the nostalgic chairlift a forest road begins leading directly to the Finsterbachalm. A leisurely path (17a, from barrier 121) leads back to the starting point.
This tour should be done over the Dürrnbachalmen and then to the Finsterbachalm in the morning and the other way round in the afternoon.
Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Budesautobahn Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district, then via the toll road from Seegatterl to the Winklmoos - Alm. Parking: -Klammweg, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the motorway Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59), on to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district then via the toll road to Winklmoos-Alm.

Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!). With the RVO bus line 9505 to Tourist Info, then change to line 9507.
