Die österreichische Grenze liegt ebenfalls vor der Haustür.

The house is located at the end of a quiet road, with no further buildings on the hillside, allowing you to step directly from the house onto the network of hiking trails.
The ski bus stop is only about 50 meters away, and the village center can be comfortably reached on foot within 10–15 minutes.
The surrounding area offers an endless variety of excursion destinations. Lake Chiemsee is just 30 minutes away, and Salzburg is also ideal for a day trip.
The Austrian border is practically on your doorstep as well.
Reit im Winkl itself is located at a higher altitude and was recognized as a health resort (“Luftkurort”) many years ago.
