Tour description:
From the starting point take path 111 and continue on path 112, always in the direction of Dürrnbachalmen and Dürrnbachhorn.
After a little over 2 hours you reach the pasture area of the Dürrnbachalmen. Here hiking trail No. 12 goes steeply up under the chairlift to the mountain station of the Dürrnbachhorn chairlift. Return via Wiesenweg no.112 via the Dürrnbachalmen, then no. 12 to the Winklmoos - Alm. From here back by bus or via path no. 111 to Seegatterl.

Special features: beautiful hike starting in the valley (765m) up to the high altitude (1607m), great view.
Tip: avoid the descent via the meadow path when it is wet (risk of slipping). From the mountain station there is also the option of taking the chairlift back to Winklmoos.
Did you know: The nostalgic chairlift was first put into operation on December 25, 1959, and 1 1/2 years later the mountain restaurant was inaugurated.
Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Budesautobahn Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
