Tour description:

Balsberg car park - Gliding airfield - Achberg - Streichen - Klobenstein - Entenlochklamm - Ettenhausen From the car park, turn left and walk along the edge of the forest to the gliding airfield. Path no. 15 leads you along the gliding airfield in the direction of Achberg/Streichen. This path takes you up to the Streichen church and the Streichen inn. From the Streichen church, go back a short distance and then follow the Samerweg to the right to the Samerrast. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Geigelstein. Now follow the steeply descending path down to the main road. Here, keep left and after about 200m you will reach the turnoff to the left to the Klobenstein pilgrimage church with the Klobenstein inn. After a short refreshment, cross the Tiroler Ache over a suspension bridge to the other side of the river and walk right along the smugglers' path through the impressive Entenlochklamm to Ettenhausen. Here, keep right and you will reach the main road again. Here, keep right again and cross the bridge over the Tiroler Ache. Shortly afterwards, at the old border station, you will reach the bus stop from which you can take the bus back. The Streichenkirche, the Samerweg, the Klobenstein pilgrimage church and the Entenlochklamm gorge make this hike special.
