The trail connects the cross country trail network of Reit im Winkl and Ruhpolding via the Dürrfeldkreuz pass. This means that the trails around lakes Weitsee, Mittersee and Lödensee can easily be combined.

The trail connects the cross country trail network of Reit im Winkl and Ruhpolding via the Dürrfeldkreuz pass. This means that the trails around lakes Weitsee, Mittersee and Lödensee can easily be combined. You can also take longer cross-country skiing tours to the Chiemgau Arena, further to Ruhpolding and even to Inzell. This route is run as the annual “Chiemgau Team Trophy” sporting event.
When you start in Reit im Winkl, drive to the parking lot at the Festsaal. When starting in Seegatterl, drive to the touring parking lot in Seegatterl, do not use the parking lot at the gondola!
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection!!) Stop directly at the tourist information office. Take the shuttle bus (RVO) from the Tourist Information/Center every half hour to Seegatterl. The timetable can be found at www.reitimwinkl.de
