Enjoy your winter holidays in the Bavarian Alps. The Winklmoos-Alm – Germany’s most famous mountain community – offers alpine skiing, cross-country skiing or hiking in the snow plus more!

Winter dreams come true on the Winklmoos-Alm!
Excellent ski slopes for the connoisseur skier, well-prepared cross-country tracks and winter hiking trails in an enchanting mountainous winter fairyland…

During the winter months, the road to the Winklmoos-Alm area is closed to public traffic. Enjoy the solitude and clear air and experience another world – without cars. Yet another reason why this area also appeals to families!

How to get there
Coming from Reit im Winkl, travel towards Ruhpolding for 5 km, you will reach the ski area’s parking lot “Seegatterl.” Once there, you may reach the Winklmoos-Alm on foot via winter-hiking trail no. 112 (this trail can also be used with cross-country skies) or with the gondola Seegatterl – Winklmoos.

Our tip:
Cross-country skiers and hikers who stay overnight in Reit im Winkl receive discounted gondola prices with their guest card. The ski passes include the gondola ride.
