The ski areas of Winklmoos-Alm and Benzeck are especially popular with children, families and other skiers who are looking for easy blue slopes.

If you prefer to whiz down red and black slopes on skis and snowboards, we recommend the Steinplatte ski area. Although it belongs to Tyrol/ Austria, it is directly connected to the Winklmoos-Alm and can be reached via the gondola from Seegatterl.

About the Winklmoos-Alm/ Steinplatte ski area

The ski area crosses borders, the part Winklmoos-Alm is in Bavaria/ Germany, the part Steinplatte is in Tyrol/ Austria. The ski area has 13 lifts (gondola, chair lifts, drag lifts) and a total of 42 km of slopes. Between the summit and the valley town of Seegatterl, you can ski on one of the longest ski runs in Germany (9km in length).

The Winklmoos-Alm ski area has fun, blue ski runs that can be easily reached via the gondola and 4 lifts. Perhaps you are lucky and find, among all the red gondolas, the one golden gondola that transports guests to the Winklmoos-Alm in honor of Olympic champion Rosi Mittermaier. You can purchase ski passes either for the Winklmoos-Alm alone or for the entire Winklmoos-Alm and Steinplatte ski area.

Free shuttle bus to the ski area

The shuttle bus is free for all guests of the Winklmoos-Alm / Steinplatte gondola. It takes you from the Tourist Info and other stops in Reit im Winkl directly to the valley station of the gondola in Seegatterl - without having to walk long distances from one of the parking lots. Once you have bought your lift tickets at the Tourist Info ticket office, you can change from the bus to the gondola as quickly as possible! To the bus timetable

Directions to the ski area/ Seegatterl car park

The proprietor charges a fee for the Seegatterl car park. This does not apply to customers with a valid ticket (season tickets, day tickets, hourly tickets, multi-day tickets and gondola tickets).
