A moderately difficult tour through an idyllic winter landscape with refreshments and a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
Tour description:
On the trail heading east "Heutal - Moarlack" after the Möserstube junction, turn left after approx. 50 m, ascending on the ascent trail / winter path "Wildalm".
Follow the route to the Heutal lifts until you reach the mountain restaurant "Wildalm". Return on the same route.
Wonderful view of the Sonntagshorn mountain, the Berchtesgaden Alps and the Loferer Steinberge.
Please note that winter hikers are also en route on this trail, especially on the descent.
Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district.
Parking: - Seegatterl, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A 93) to Oberaudorf (exit 59), then on to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Continue on the B 305 to Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district.
Parking: - Seegatterl, 83242 Reit im Winkl
From there you use the gondola to the Winklmoos-Alm.
Connections to Reit im Winkl from the Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection !!), stop directly at the tourist information office. With the shuttle bus (RVO) from the tourist information center every half hour to Seegatterl.
Connections to Reit im Winkl from Ruhpolding train station with the RVO line 9506. Stop: Seegatterl.
From there you use the gondola to the Winklmoos-Alm.
