Become enchanted by the past and present life on an alm on select hikes to these alpine farms. Learn the process of cheese-making or visit a farmer’s market and experience what living on an alm is all about.
For your trip-planning convenience, following is a summary of all attractions and scheduled events.
 

Overview of the planned programm:

• Hike to the Zwerchenbergalm: “from the valley to the lower alm.”
• Discover the „culture trail“ with our hike leader
• One day on the Winklmoos Alm: „Breakfast at an alm with its own cheese production“
  Arrive at the Knapp’n Kasa around noon: „alm life then and now on the Winklmoos“ (free homemade juice from own production)
• Easy hike to the Eckkapelle, Müllerbauer-Kasa, Glapfalm and to the Hutzenalm. Rest stop with music
• Farmers market in Reit im Winkl
• Almabtrieb location t.b.a.
• Big folk evening
• Picnic on the alm meadow of the Gräbner Alm
• Spend a day on the Hemmersuppenalm. Guided hike, Topic: flowers and herbs.
  church service at the Anna-Kapelle, followed by a stop at the “Feid’s Kasa: “How are Boschen and Aufstecker made?”
• Panorama hike
