Snow circus on the Winklmoos-Alm/Steinplatte
Dreamlike slopes for all skill levels, from Reit im Winkl over the Winklmoos Alm, up to the Tyrolean Steinplatte, for boundless skiing and snowboarding. And at night, you can ski some more on the floodlit slope in the center of Reit im Winkl.
The Winklmoos Alm is Germany's most famous mountain commune, for it is home of the Olympic gold medalist Rosi Mittermaier, otherwise known as “Gold-Rosi.” The Winklmoos Alm together with the adjacent Kammerköhr-Steinplatte is a great ski area up to 1900 m altitude.

Reit im Winkl’s ski area Winklmoos Alm offers 4 lifts with fun, blue ski runs, which are easily accessible via the new gondola. One of the longest downhill runs in the world is right here, from the Steinplatte to Seegatterl, for a total of 12 km.
